I am constantly amazed.
I am constantly looking at the sky and seeing all the different shapes in the clouds and stars. An overwhelming sense of peace lays on me as I look around at all the things that stun me. Along with peace, comes hope. I start to wonder, if I am this amazed by the mesmerizing ocean waves and the delicateness of the flowers, then my eyes are in for a treat when they see the people that make up this world.
All the people.
All their smiles, all their natural freckles, all their structures, all their perspectives, all their personalities, all their talents and, all their ways they make this world wonderful.
My eyes are placed in shock.
Twirling around I am susceptible to so many different people and so many stories. I have peace in the breathtaking aspects of the world, and I have hope in the community all around me.
When walking through this journey, we get stuck. We place our heads down and turn away in low self confidence. When we look down and focus on the struggles beating us, we can’t see the beauty. We can’t see the peaceful nature and the hopeful people. We can’t regain our sense of humility and passion when we shove our eyes to look below.
We've got to place our eyes to look beyond. Look beyond the struggles, because we will always have them. Look beyond the past, because our life doesn’t take place there. Look beyond the appalling things that seems to take up most of your life, because we can place our faith in something higher than that. We can place our eyes on something better to look at.
Walk around this Earth with a purposeful goal of looking at EVERYTHING. Find the stars everynight and the sunshine every morning. They are your sense of peace. Most importantly, find the people that make you believe in yourself, for those people are your sense of hope.
