I was born into a family fueled by fear and anxiety. Due to my sensitivity and empathy, my survival instinct was to take care of everyone around me in order to survive.
Although my most natural instinct is to speak my mind and live vulnerably, I was unintentionally surpressed by fear. My identity became "Anxiety". Everyone knew I suffered with it, medication was prescribed and THEIR problems were solved.
Twenty-One years later and I have now just begun to recognize my own voice. Through trauma and pain, I have learned the difference between true Joy and Suffering. Every human being struggles, but it is a choice to suffer.
Meditate on what truly gives yourself Joy.
Spend time alone.
Learn what truly makes you happy.
Introduce those things into your busy schedule and prioritize them.
Do not let other people run your life.
You have the freedom to be your true self.
You're worthy of it.
