Most of our lives are shrouded in mystery. There’s the wondering about why certain paths twisted and writhed the way they did, the hectic uncertainty about the present, and the anxious unknown of what the future holds. So many question marks end our life sentences and can be daunting or seem meaningless; no matter how hard you search, the answers still elude you.
Each step forward may be terrifying, but if you remember you’re capable of overcoming each circumstance you’re placed in, then the journey doesn’t seem as overwhelming.
Don’t throw your energy into forcing the question marks into periods or exclamation points. Resist the temptation to go on a wild goose chase for somewhat adequate explanations. Reality is, we’ll never have all the answers regardless of how desperately we seek them. Be still, rest in the expansive mystery of the here and now. In good time, the answers you need will find you as you continue down your life path. Time usually spins the best tales, so quit your exhausting search for something not yet meant to be known.
That foggy, mysterious haze shouldn’t be feared. Instead, have faith that things worked out the way they were meant to, hope in the possibility of the moment you’re in, and embrace curiosity and wonder for things to come. Though the questions may nag at your brain, try to value the great mystery and adventure life is. It might not be so bad to be clueless, after all. Be brave in the face of the unknown! Some of the best things are yet to come, so you have every reason to be so excited as you venture forward. I hope you believe in the magic of not knowing.
