Joy, happiness, tranquility, peace, comfort, warmth, sadness, loneliness, regret, fear. What about actions? Dancing, singing, laughter, bullying, stealing, violence, war. Can the good always outway the bad no matter what? Will joy always be stronger than fear? Will acts of kindness and laughter always be stronger than violence and war? I would say yes. If you think of every time you have experienced these actions, are joy and happiness stronger than loneliness, and sorrow? Maybe one day it will add up and joy will be worth the fight, but right now it may be hard for you to see.
Even if you can't see a day where it will be better, find one beautiful attribute of this world and think of that one person, place or thing to get through these hard times. The act of kindness, and showing joy and love, can move many. It’s such a strong emotion and feeling, that it is stronger than our sorrows. Holidays can be hard, but one day of living in joy is stronger and can overcome months of depression. It would be terrible if we only saw black and white, if we only heard one side of the story, and if we only felt one feeling. Thankfully we don't. And that is something to be grateful and thankful for everyday. Of all the beauty, joy, laughter, and warmth, it’s safe to say that these outweigh the pain and tragicness through death and life.
